I was in search for the LAW book my prof required us to have and so I followed the advice of one of my classmates as to where I could actually buy one. I passed by aurora blvd this morning. I went to Conanan bookstore just beside NCBA, to be exact. I asked the salesman if they have Hector De Leon’s Obligations and Contracts.. He immediately went all the way up to the shelf and reached for the last copy of the said book. Thank God one was left for me or else.. It would be a different story.


From there we headed on to VMMC (Veterans Memorial Medical Center). I was supposed to get a request from our comrade doctors for my dad’s blood reservoir. It’s better to be prepared than be caught in chaos if ever he’d need to transfuse blood. Then again, we found out that lots of stocks were already available in their blood bank so there really isn’t a need for donors so far. And that the blood bank would not accept such blood reservoirs if they would not be utilized at once. I just hope those stocks are still available when we get back next week so we won’t have to worry about anything.


Our next stop was at Camp Crame. It’s the 25th day of the month, and that marks the release of the military retirees’ pension. Good thing we don’t have to wait there for a very long while coz the retirees whose surname starts with A aren’t really as immense as the other letters. I believe it only took us 10 mins before Hermie (the clerk assigned in our designated counter) handed us our check. Whew! That’s way too fast than expected!


We ate lunch at Greenwich. I ordered one lasagna supreme, one piece chicken meal and a gulaman just for myself. Haha. I know you wouldn’t believe it but I really did! Well, I had to take it as a good sign. I’m not far from achieving the goal I’ve recently set to myself. What goal?! Nah.. That’s for me to know and for you to find out!


Starbucks! I never fail to drop by to any of its branches whenever I have time. I bought myself a grande of chocolate cream chip just a while ago. Yumyum! It never fails to free me from all the heartaches, stresses, pressures and other painstaking concerns that had recently fraught me. One sip is all that it takes for that soothing relief I’m really dying to have!


Elizabethtown would be aired once again by HBO at 11 tonight. I won’t fail to catch it this time! ; )


5 days more and it’s already July. July, July, July.. What’s so significant ‘bout it?! I know most of you may be wondering! It’s so damn essential that I won’t allow any single detail for you to know! Haha =P Let’s just say, it marks the start of the UAAP season.. just to divert you guys’ attention! Haha.. Peace out!
