I was there! And I saw how it all happened..! We had the first half but it had not been enough to emerge triumphant in this said game. Sadly, we lost by just a point. Just because luck suddenly decided to depart from us. It really could have been our game. We could have at least earned that worth dying for “twice to beat advantage” but we unexpectedly failed for time had not really been on our side during those few seconds left on the last quarter. Anyways, we still got nothing to be ashamed of for we had proven ourselves’ worth. We fought remarkably hard just to keep our pride and honor intact. We got up our seats as we whole-heartedly applauded every effort that every single player had exerted. We fell onto our knees upon realizing a loss of such an arduous game. But indeed, nothing is to be ashamed of! For with grace and humility upon defeat, we still kept our hearts beating unwaveringly for our beloved alma mater. Truly, WIN OR LOSE IT’S THE SCHOOL WE CHOOSE!
